Simplicity
The interface is intentionally minimal. There are no confusing dashboards or hoops to jump through. You paste a link, you get a short link. That's it.
No Accounts
You shouldn't have to create an account for every little thing you do online. I wanted GoAnon to be a utility you can use instantly. Just show up, shorten your link, and get on with your day.
